Northwest Subarus in California

A few years back, when Emily had to help me loosen the
lug nuts on my wheel.  

Last night I was driving home from a classmate's Christmas party when I stopped at a stop sign.  Coming toward me was a Subaru Outback.  Back in the Northwest, every other car is a Subaru, but around here, it's actually pretty rare to see one.  So I was curious to see who it was, and staring by the light of the street lamp, I saw Emily Wilkens!! I started waving like crazy and I'm sure she wondered what on earth this crazy Californian was doing.  Fortunately, she recognized me and we stopped right in the middle of the intersection for a hug.  Absolutely made my night.
