21 pictures for 21 years

Tomorrow Sadie turns 21!  We celebrated today because she's driving to Portland tomorrow.  While we waited for her in the girls' dorm lobby, Lauren and I decided to steal a helium balloon for her.  She caught us in the act, and we made her tie the balloon to her wrist.  Laura also gave her two other balloons that shouted HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BIRTHDAY GIRL, and a bright sparkling green birthday ring.  She was cute (when is Sadie not cute?).  We told her we were taking her to the Virgin Islands, but ended up at the Patisserie eating gelato.  Basil gelato has got to be one of the weirdest flavors I've ever tasted.  Can't even describe it.  I settled on white nectarine instead.  Delicious.  We played The Sadie Game - a game that's all about Sadie.  It goes something like this: Laura comes up with a question, we all answer it, and Sadie tells us if we are right.  And we laughed.  A lot.  It took us about 21 pictures to finally get one where we were all in the picture.  Thankfully Lauren has long arms!


I think maybe I need more girl time in my life. :)
